But jose seamlessly was able to change between Spanish, French and English without difficulty. Do yourself a favour and book the early morning time slot. The ocean is calmer and there are fewer people and larger boats on the water. The smaller power boats that go into Benagil cave get very close to you while you are waiting outside to make your way into the cave. “The activity and the boat trip was excellent adventure but unable to spot dolphins. Would suggest trip adviser that if you are sure that you can trace dolphins in high tides then please inform the customers so that they can pre book or cancel the event. Safety wise I am not sure about the life jackets, the tide was so high that even we didn’t know what to do in case of emergency. Please consider this point.”

“This trip was abysmal. There was literally no wildlife to see and, accordingly, the skipper had very little to say about it. His English wasn't too good either. There was one little book for the six of us about the wildlife and it was all in Portuguese - not that we needed it for anything. Of the 2 hour trip we spent 40 minutes on the island and there wasn't much to see. The ferry to the island would have probably been much cheaper but it is not worth going there.”
